Russia launched an overnight assault on Ukraine using missiles and drones, resulting in approximately 20 injuries across the eastern and southern regions.
Targets included Kyiv, the wider region, and Kharkiv in the east, with drones also striking Zaporizhzhia in the south.
At least 14 people, including a seven-year-old boy, were injured in the Kharkiv region, where the city was hit by two missiles and 17 drones.
Ukrainian President Zelensky stated that Russia fired a total of 420 drones and 39 missiles during the attack.
The strikes caused destruction in eight regions, damaging numerous private homes and apartment buildings, with dozens of people, including children, reported injured.
